70,000+ Facebook comments on 14000+ Syrian Revolution Artworks
This graph represents 70,000+ Facebook comments on 14000+ Syrian Revolution Artworks. Day by day, between March 2011 and March 2014
The graph is just one presentation element of a much bigger and deeper research project of visualizing the Syrian revolution. A 1 million images’ structured database, unprecedented and hosting all associated meta data. This is to say now we have a wealth of information to study The Syrian revolution, war, and identity (Pre and post revolution) from a visual sociology approach.
Now we are looking for contributors to this project. We are open to any suggestions that help bring this into a useful format open to interested researchers, academics and learners. Our online network now is exceptionally reachable by community members only. This exclusive and restrictive access is due to several criteria. This research project started on: June 2012 and it is continuing with more ambitious goals.
As you can see there was a growth of comments, then a slope down back. This is a quite reasonable presentation -we believe- of the psychological status of Syrians during their pacific revolution then war. Off course the research project explore further aspect that confirm such hypothesizing. But the data is not shared here yet due to to several commitments (a book to be published, further technical database development, and time needed to write specific papers on each finding).
